Internship
Details
For the last couple of months, from September until now, I have been a broadcast and media intern with the Niagara University Men's ACHA D1 Hockey team. Below this paragraph is what I have been doing during this internship so far. Thank you for your time!!
About the Internship
Broadcast Media
I have been attending and working every home game for the team. During my time at games so far, I have assisted with commentary, recorded games for review, tried to record goals as they happened, and served as the color commentator.
Research/Watching away games
I have also been using separate hours and time to research the ACHA, do pre-game prep, write intro and outro scripts for commentary, and look up stats. Along with watching and keeping track of when the team is playing an away game.
Meetings
Meetings have occurred quite often. For the first couple of months, I have met with fellow interns to discuss things moving forward, even with professors who are tied into this internship as well.
